Groupon Frequently Asked Questions
Seven Treasures Healing Arts is very honored to meet and serve the people who purchased the Austin Groupon “Deal of the Day” on Thursday, April 7, 2011, which was valid until August 8, 2011.
Below is some helpful information about your Groupon purchase.
Sessions are available by appointment only.
If you do not show up for your appointment as scheduled and do not cancel your appointment with 24 hours advance notice, your Groupon is void and invalid.
It is best to NOT wait until the last week before the Groupon expires before booking an appointment.
Vouchers do not cover Chinese herbs or other products.
Vouchers cannot be combined with any other offer.
Vouchers are not eligible for cash back.
Questions and Answers
Q. What did I buy with this Groupon?
A. The current Groupon special is valid for a 2-hour session that combines a detailed intake, diagnosis, shiatsu or tuina, acupuncture, and Reiki, with some lifestyle or dietary information. The session may also include other Chinese medicine modalities such as cupping or moxibustion.
Q. How do I redeem my Groupon offer?
Call to schedule your appointment and provide your groupon voucher number.
Please tell us your main health concerns.
Click on the “Forms and Newsletters”; download and fill out ALL of the forms before coming to your appointment.
Read “Information for the First Appointment” which is below the download forms section.
Arrive at the office about 10 minutes before your appointment.
The day of your appointment, bring the printout of your voucher, or have it viewable via mobile phone.
If you do not know which number is the voucher number, we will accept digital photos of your certificate. Photos can be taken of the computer screen with the voucher numbers readable.
Q. Where is Seven Treasures Healing Arts located?
A. Seven Treasures offices at Oak Hill Healing Arts, 7413 Old Bee Caves Rd., Austin, TX 78735. The street is just east of the “Y” intersection of Highway 290 and 71 AND the first street west of William Cannon Road on Highway 290. From Highway 290, turn north—the only direction that you can turn—on Old Bee Caves Road. The center is on the left, about one mile north of Highway 290. There is a large sign that says “Oak Hill Oriental Medicine” (the center name was recently changed) and a smaller sign for Seven Treasures Healing Arts. Turn left and go down the hill to the two-story house that is golden yellow with white and olive green trim. Park at the rear of the building on the left.
Q. I didn't get to buy the Groupon. Can I still get the deal?
A. No.
Q. I missed the Groupon sale on April 7, 2011. Is it possible to purchase the same deal from you directly?
A. No, the Groupon deal can only be purchased through Groupon. However, Seven Treasures occasionally offers New Patient Specials so check our website or Facebook page.
Q. Can I make my appointment by email?
A. No. You must call to schedule.
Q. I purchased a single Groupon but now realize I should have purchased more. Will you sell more sessions at the Groupon rate?
A. No. Additional sessions can be bought as singles or in multi-package sessions.
Q. Is outcall acupuncture offered on the Groupon?
A. No.
Q. If I don't have time to come in for my acupuncture session can I give the Groupon to someone else even though it has my name on it?
A. Yes. He/she must bring in your Groupon voucher in person.
Q. I've purchased more than one Groupon to give as gifts, can we all be seen at the same time?
A. No. However, you can be seen back-to-back.
Q. When may I use my Groupon?
A. Seven Treasures is open Monday and Wednesday 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday 1-7 p.m.; Friday 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Occasionally there is some availability on Saturdays.
Q. I've decided I really don't have time for acupuncture, will you buy back the Groupon?
A. No. The Groupon is valid only for an acupuncture session and has no cash value.
Q. I bought a Groupon and it expired. Will you still do the acupuncture treatment?
A. You can apply the $50 you paid for the Groupon voucher plus pay an additional $25.
